    Default Map your surname

    http://worldnames.publicprofiler.org/

    Marotta:

    Feller:

    Abreu:

It's just abble to search on the grey areas in the map =] That's why nothing happens for Abreu in Portugal or Brazil. It's possible to zoom the map to better information.

Nothing shows up for me as Portugal or Brazil despite those being the two countries where all my family surnames would be most common..

It's just able for the grey areas of the map, the only Iberian reference sems to be Spain.

following the logic of other people“s surnames, by what“s displayed in my world map, my surname should be originary of Argentina

Or looking into europe only, From the Navarra and Aragon Crown .Did not see that coming , I thought it would be more represented in western Iberia

When you zoom in, they usually provide an ethnic origin for the surname in the data below the map. Evidently bearers of that surname were more successful in the New World than the old.
