Poland tried but failed.
Occasionally Moldova had a similar arrangement with Poland to the one with Hungary - it got Polish troops in wars against Ottomans in exchange for vasselage. It worked well for both parties, because it kept wars with Ottomans far from Poland, and increased the strength of Moldovan armies.
The most influence Poland had in Moldova was during the so-called "boyars wars" (early 17th century).

You talking BS as usual.
First of all, no Romania existed until late 19th century. Poland existed in 966 AD.
Poland owned Transylvania in the past, also you were owned by Golden Horde (Cossacks aka Ukrainians), Kingdom of Hungary (Vlachs and Magyars), Bulgarian Empire (Bulgars), who else oh yes your main suppressors Ottoman Empire (Turks). Also in the lands of Romania lived large population of Jews, Romas, Germans.
Moldova was vassal state of Poland yes, because our nobility founded that principality. If we need to use this buffer region to defend from Ottomans that was necessary move at the time.
