Interesting. I've seen a couple of 100% Irish results posted on reddit before but they're quite rare, most people get a little English/NW Europe or Scandinavian as well. Are you planning to make a K36 map?

It's a map that shows you how similar you DNA is to an averaged reference population within various different countries. Someone posted a thread here a few days ago where people posted their own, if you want to see examples. You have to upload your raw DNA data to GEDMatch, run the Eurogenes K36 calculator and then input the values at this website in order to get your map.

You only got Connacht GCs though. Irish usually get 100% are close to it. DNA testing will not show deep ancestry and the Irish match the Ireland & Scotland category at Ancestry extremely well but it is such a small area and people are very similar genetically. Could you post some Gedmatch results like Eurogenes K13 and K15?

It's not rare. It's common for Irish to get 100% now. In the past they used to get trace regions but with Ancestry's new update they now nearly all get 100%. What is impressive with this result is the 100% Connacht GCs.

This is my daughter's result. Her paternal side is from Leinster.
