I wouldn't necessarily call it a "nationalist" baby boom. People in Eastern Europe in general have more common sense regarding the phrase "youth and looks don't last forever" than in the west and south Europe perhaps as well. Different customs and traditions too and less left wing propaganda.

I dont believe in any "baby booms" until the fertility rate gets to replacement levels.
Just look at the fertility rates over the years, not youtube videos. Its tragic.

Hungary's birthrate is 1.5, which is low. It also hasn't improved since 2017. Significant perceantage of the births are Roma minority too, not ethnically hungarian. Ethnic hungarian birthrate is probably around 1 child /woman on avarage, one of the lowest in the world. Half or one third of the time I see someone with a babystroller here it's a 18-20 year old gypsy girl, no kidding. Hungary's demograhics are fucked in the longterm. White Europe may survive in Belarus, Poland or Croatia, not here.

In Poland, it certainly was last I checked. Is it because of so many of them working abroad while young? Ireland, Spain and Italy's were also abysmal.

How could you trust your baby to a gypsy? Or are they the integrated/civilised?

I'd be happy if there was a baby boom in these countries but everything I've seen shows that they have some of the lowest birthrates.

France and Sweden hold the record for the highest fertility rates in the EU, but their rates are still far from replenishment level needed in a modern society to avoid population decline without migration, according to data published by Eurostat, the bloc’s statistical office.

Both these countries have high immigrant populations though so I'm not sure how much the fertility rate isn't down to immigrants. Ireland always had a relatively high birthrate but it does appear to be dropping.

EE birthrates aren't higher than WE.
