Even though France is supposedly seen as the epitome of Westernness, I do find that French and Balkan Slavic looks can overlap to a surprising degree (Alpines and Dinarids maybe?) Apart from 9 and 14, they could all fairly easily be French IMO.

11,12 and 13 pass in Poland. They have Gorid, Baltic and Neo-Danubian vibe.

Moreover, despite what you-know-who used to claim, the difference between Bulgarians and Greeks is quite striking, taking into account they are neighbours without a mountain separating them.

It's the Freedom monument in Shipka, Central Bulgaria. The monument was built in honor of all Bulgarian volunteers and foreign soldiers who defeated the Ottomans in several major battles. The Shipka battles were among the most fierce ones in our history - they were fought not only with guns, swords and rifles, but also stones, fallen trees and even the bodies of the killed soldiers. The culmination was when 5000 Bulgarian volunteers and 2500 soldiers hailing from various parts of the Russian Empire, as well as several volunteers from other areas of the world, defeated nearly 40 000 Ottomans. It's one of the most important victories in the course of Bulgarian liberty.

Would you say it is more that Bulgarians look too Slavic/Central European to collectively pass as Greeks, or that Greeks look too Med to collectively pass as Bulgarians?
