The 'Dirty War'

About 30,000 people disappeared
(including babies and children who were stolen from political opponents,)
many of whom were impossible to formally report due to the nature of state terrorism.

The excuse for the Coup d'Etat was the armed actions of the Montoneros and the ERP,
but actual target of the Operation Condor were students, militants, trade unionists,
writers, journalists and artists including Peronist guerrillas.

The "disappeared" victims were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by the military government.

Many of the members of the juntas are currently in prison for crimes against humanity and genocide.

I dont blame Lily for not knowing this but the 30.000 dissappeared is a lie. The man who created the number already said it was false.

The real number is 3.500 but as it was not impressive europeans and jews didnt care. Thats why they said 30.000. Here the truth but its in spanish.

This is one of those cases were the left says a lie and everybody repeats because if you say the truth you are not politically correct.

Interestingly i cannot find this information in english so the international media doesent care about the truth...

Should I post about the Dirty War on the thread an Argentine poster made about 'the forgotten British invasion of Argentina?'

Do you object to that thread? No, of course you don't... but the moment a thread is made back about Argentine crimes against humanity, you get narky.
