Do you believe that they were real, or just a myth?

I find the legends quite well-preserved, judging by Ireland's history. There might be a lot of missing key parts. And the appearance descriptions seem to be probably, judging by the migration waves.

Personally, I think they were a real ruling dynasty, however some in-detail information have been forged.

they obviously the historiazed version of the old gaelic gods, I haven't a clue why anyone thinks the were real or inspired off of real people, perhaps they came to fill the historical memory of a people after losing god status, but not always...
