Murderer was ex partner of one of victims, infant who survived the tragedy was his own child. He took his own life after manhunt by Police

Not anymore but there could be mentality "residues" from tribalistic/clan times ,In Greece&Albania for example there are certain tribes which had/have(?) the tradition of blood feud,I guess it'd apply to the rest of Balkans too as a mentality(although not something common anymore ofc) .

Common, crimes of passion (jelaousy etc) are more common there than elsewhere in Europe. Also due to to lot of traumatised families by recent wars. This was calculated murder, and most of people were poorer.

Infant who survived is only 7 month old, son of murderer who comitter suicide afterwards. Baby has nobody left, he is placed into orphanage now
