don't let anyone tell you the french aren't at least half gaulish, cause all the invaders who came afterwards only came in small ruling classes (including the Romans, and Franks) the only exceptions I'd make is the french border regions with both germanic and romance countries, as well as the basque region and the land that surrounds it.

also my mother's 23&me says she has regions from France including Aquitaine, Centre-val de Loire and for the highest amount Brittany, which was a pleasant surprise

Basque are basque. Like sardinians are not ''roman''. They don't come from Rome and Latinum.

    Bell beaker = France.

Vae Victis, the Gauls under Brennus sacked Rome, and under a different Brennus sacked Delphi, only being driven out by bad weather. The Gauls defeated the Spartans at the second battle of Thermopylae, a standardized highly trained army smashed by a tribal confederacy. The Galatians, the descendants of those Gauls in Greece who went to central Anatolia, where prized mercenaries by the Egyptians and other Afro-asiatic (especially Semitic) peoples, much like the Varangian guard who would follow them in another 1000 or so years.
The Gauls of southern France where organized into oligarchical confederations rather then kingdoms or tribes, quite possibly being influenced by or maybe even influencing the Mediterranean powers. The leader of the founders of Massalia married the daughter of a gaul and many of the descendants of the original massalian Greeks where half Gaulish.
