Alternatively to the theory that the Gypsies might have been a pariah caste that left India, there are others that argue that they might have been a warrior caste like the nomadic and semi-nomadic peoples of the age of the invasions, and that that might explain their aggressiveness.

Ive always stand for first theory, because second one raises an evident objection: I guess nomadic status is not compatible at long-term with being warriors who would fight for the better land they could get and to then settle down. Moreover, the agressiveness at gipsies seems to be correlated with the national character (the same way their music is heavily conditioned by also) of the host country: peaking if countries, like Spain, with natural arrogant fearless and pride natives.

Gypsies entered the Crown of Aragon via the Pyrenees in the 15th century, and they were given a safe-conduct by the king, as they were entitled Counts of Minor Egypt (hence Egyptians > Gypsies, or Egiptanos > Gitanos). I don't know to what point a pariah caste would have been treated that way...
Notice that Minor Egypt has nothing to do with Egypt, but with the region they so called in parts of Greece where they settled before spreading all over Europe.

I didn't said that they were a pariah caste when they entered Spain. But they became a pariah caste in Spain (and elsewhere too)

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.
