    Well, many Nova Scotians do descend from victims of the Highland Clearances, too. They were sent there.

    Great pics, mate!

    I recognize Glen Coe, Eileen Donan, the Old Man of Storr and the War Memorial.

    I did the same route a few years back. Midges & murk!

    I didn't hike Storr but I did hike at the Quirang at the tippity-top of Skye and the two spots are similar, being 'made' of the same kind of rock. Here was what the view was like:



    And AD is right--Nova Scotia isn't terribly different from Auld Scotia--just a lot more trees.
