    Default Last name Brianza, what is the origin?

    Well I know that I acquired the last name from a French ancestor, but he was kind of an unknown topic idk why among family. It sounds Italian, there are people who have this last name, and what it means.

    Yes, it’s from a city in Lombardía. I was looking among the countries with more distribution in the world with the last name and in Europe is Italy, Switzerland and France. It is more popular in northern Italy the last name.
    In America Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay have the most descendants with the last name, but in America it was acquired by people who immigrated there.
