Default Scandinavians not metric descendants of Iron Age Scandinavians?

When you look at the archaelogical data and compare it to what Coon writes about modern Scandinavians it is clear that the robust Western Norwegians and Icelanders can not be straight metric descendants of Iron Age Scandinavians. It is also clear that those robust types are metrically similar to early Finnics (and modern).

Huge influx of British DNA since then. A lot of Brunnish admixture in Iceland and Norway.

It could be. Some of those Brachycephal Bronze Age British types are laterally equal to early Finnics. So to understand my point; Western Norwegians have grown laterally enormously compared to Iron Age Scandinavians, in other words: in bizygomatic diameter, in bigonial diameter, and in skull breadth. Only South Western Swedes and Eastern Norwegians have retained the extremely gracial and narrow Iron Age form.

Intra-population selection, Coon called this "re-emergence" of more ancient types.

It is re-emergence only in non-Finnic Europe. Coon clearly states that according to archaelogical Records Finnics have always been large and Finnics have retained their old form. Whereas some northern European populations have clearly grown in size compared to Bronze and Iron Age.

Interesting thing is that the Iron Age Nordic skulls are actually metrically more similar to Volga-Uralian skulls, than they are to Finnish and Estonian skulls of that same time period.
    This is what Coon writes:
When we make a metrical comparison between the first two groups of Volgaic skulls and all European series previously studied, the find that they fit into the ranks of Iron Age Indo-European speakers without difficulty. On the whole, they resemble most nearly the larger-sized members of the intermediate group; they also resemble the Scythian crania to a considerable extent, and even more the Minussinsk skulls. They arc slightly smaller than the Germanic type, but equal to it in vault height and face breadth.
