I dislike when these White Latin Americans talk about our countries as if we didn't even exist in them. They always talk about how "Brazil did this", "Colombia did that", "Cuba" this, etc. These countries have only been ruled by Whites so far, so the actions of the governments do not reflect the wills of the people.

Well it is true that Brazil's elite were more racially-conscious (and self-conscious) than Colombia's even before the mass European migration to the former. As an aside, this is what rich Colombian children from Bogota look like - do they all look super White to you? (Granted, there are not many Black kids among them, but Bogota doesn't really have that many Blacks anyway).

Why would I care? I'm not Israeli. Don't get offended because I don't think the question or answer has merit. Israel was very racist before Golda Meir, too.

There's a lot of racism in Colombia, according to my sources (friends).

They may have some castizos, but it is pretty clear balanced mestizos and anyone with noticeable SSA ancestry is are practically nonexistent in Colombia's elite.

I understood, but it never had to do with equality.

These are pictures of Dutch immigrants

In the last immigration they brought 1000 Dutch cows with them:

    They brought Dutch tractors too:

Immigration "white" european is far from simple

Brazil would be similar to Colombia in this respect, which does not show exclusion but low SSA accession in the upper social.

There are still many dark Mestizos (not just Castizos) in the photos. And that is Bogota. Now for Cartagena (yes I know they are still less Black than average, but then most Costenos are somewhat less Black than e.g. African-Americans anyway):

Disqualify Colombia as an option. Latin America is not rich to integrate poor populations.
