Trump Expressed An Interest In Buying Greenland

Makes me wonder what Trump knows that we don't...

...either (1) why we would want it or (2) from where would we get the money?

Yesterday Trump cancelled a state visit to Denmark after the nation's prime minister said Greenland was not for sale to the US.

I bet no woman had ever called this (narcissist - chauvinist - spoiled kid) ''man's'' idea ''absurd'' and he just could't take it.

When your "best friend" ask you to sell your wife or child to him and you respond "it's absurd", and your "best friend" feels insulted.. you know your "friend" is not a friend.

PS: Greenland has very strong autonomy. Even as Denmark would very surprisingly one day be ready to sell it ... I hardly think they can/could do it over those people living in Greenland (there should be minimum one kind of referendum in Greenland) ... and those people did't like Trump's idea either.

I say this because with Puerto Rico and the Philippines something similar happened.
Therefore, I would not be surprised if that happened, when the United States wants something it does not accept a no as an answer and more if it is a strategic place.

But a different thing is if this is only a whim of Trump or if the rulers really want to make the purchase.

50,000 inhabitants, give them a million dollars each and you get a large mineral rich resource to exploit for 50 billion.

As a side you get Greenland with 50,000 millionaires looking to invest their new found wealth, none of them will be claiming welfare as they'll all be rich.

Nevertheless, the US flag could soon be blowing in the resource-rich area near the Arctic, because according to the American secret service CIA, weapons of mass destruction in Greenland have now been surprisingly discovered.

Therefore Danes should think twice about Trump’s generous offer imo.
