I remember in high school people listened to Linkin Park, Guns N Roses, Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin, Metallica, Queen, Nirvana, AC/DC... Besides local music that is.

Music that is forced upon youth today is Kathy Perry, that girl swinging on a wrecking ball, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande...

I was a 90's teen and never cared for the music that most of the kids liked. Some of the 90's Country music is awesome but it went downhill after '96.

Country music is cool. Regarding topic music already started going down hill in the 90s with Britney Spears and stupid boy bands imo. I am not surprised it was the same with Country music.
