I'm thinking about it, but not until next year if I do.

Well you'll probably take a more academic route compared to the casual study group I was hoping to get together .

I should mention we'd be using Ecclesiastical Latin textbooks .

Have received a home study course Latin this week. But I am not sure I am looking for a study mate at this moment.

Hmm, yeah that mightn't work for me. When I do it, it'll likely be 5th/6th century Latin.

I've got the two part Scanlon and Scanlon Latin laying around as well as Collin's Primier of Ecclesiastical Latin as well as a few other courses. Scanlon and Scanlon's First Latin focuses mostly on the liturgy, Ambrosian hymns etc., and the Second Latin on papal bulls, the Summa, Ambrose etc.

Collins jumps mostly into the Latin documents of the Second Vatican Council etc.
