Hmm, to be honest, there is only place you'll end at, when you sail west from Éire. And, as for Tuatha dé Danann - all traces lead to either Tír na nÓg, or Scythia - both Scythia and America have R haplogroup among native inhabitants.

My family has documented Scythian origins on paternal line - and, of course, R haplogroup.

Would probably make sense for R1B, but less for R1 as a whole. Assuming that both of them are related, it's easier to believe that Tuatha dé Danann interbred with Milesians, than that Gaels and Poles are more closely related than Poles and Danes.
