Danish prime minister Mette Frederiksen stated clearly to Donald Trump that Greenland is not for sale. "Greenland is not danish, Greenland is Greenlandic" And that she would not be open to discussing it.

Following that statement Donald Trump has decided to cancel his visit to Denmark.

Now they are talking about perhaps a diplomatic crisis between the US and Denmark. And all experts in Denmark are advicing Mette Frederiksen to tread carefully after Trumps cancel to visit.



A Greenlandic politician has send a counter offer on social media, offering that we buy America back since it was Erik the red that discovered it.

'Greenland is not Danish', but Denmark apparently kind of carries it a lot financially and doesn't take much of an advantage of it's vast mineral resources. Not sure what Danish taxpayers think about that? Anyway, ridiculous idea, nobody is taking this seriously, those sarcastic comments are everything he's getting. Maybe he should consider buying Australia instead, before China does so.
