The Eastern euro averaged with Tons of AJ is the result of terrible and frankly, slight irresponsibility on the part of 23. They know better, but they want people to buy kits with the promise they “might be exotic”. 23 has to at the least maybe add more explanation. If something is not corrected soon, they need to be told this. Fire up those emails, fellas!

I put in Netherlands for my maternal grandparents, as South Dutch is my mom's closest match in Eurogenes oracles. So, the predicted result is not bad for me, in alignment with my actual result, but with the Ashkenazi bonus.

I put Greece for all 4 grandparents and the most likely results were 84% European 16% West Asian and North African.

EDIT: Seems to change the percentages around every time I try though.

Wow how incredibly useless.

I was hoping it would be something like, if you don't know one of your parent's parent's ancestry, you could enter the three you know and it would guess what the other might be, based on your DNA results. Why doesn't any calculator do that?

Place of birth probably skews the results because of diaspora people and minorities.

Are you retarded? There is a simple explanation for this. It's based on their database. The averages don't seem wrong to me. Much of their customer base which enters in east euro locations for their grandparents is in fact Ashkenazi. And given that their customer base isn't about to drastically change, the predictions are probably correct.
