They are from the line of Shem, meaning they are mostly Semitic (but could be considered Caucasoid similar to Indians even though they're not white). Due to intermarriage, assimilation, etc. there is some Japeth (Aryan) in them. If I recall correctly Arab Christians have around 12% French in them because of the crusaders taking native women as wives.
