A group of Turks clashed with several Germans because of too short a skirt. The police even had to intervene in the brawl it had come to.

The incident had already occurred on Tuesday evening in the Duisburg Rheinpark on the banks of the river, the police said on Thursday. A 20-year-old Turk spoke to a 50-year-old German for her skirt, which he considered too short. He told the woman, according to testimonies, why she had to present her legs in such a way.

Cultural differences
The woman wondered loudly at her companions, why in the Turks, the men and women would be separated from each other. The police report: "The mutual incomprehension about the cultural differences of those involved led first to a verbal confrontation and ended in a brawl." One of the involved parties batted his shoulder during the brawl, the others were slightly injured. It is now being investigated for insult and involvement in a fight.
