The concept of monogamy is quite stupid indeed.

It usually ends up with both unhappy, insecure, and unnecessarily jealous. If we could just be in relationships, but still have casual sex (even with your partner involved), and have that be a cultural norm, I think divorce rates would plummet.

I'd never cheat, but I honestly don't like the idea of never being able to be with another woman once I'm married.

Not true. Humans are created by God to be monogamous, in the sanctity of marriage. Anything else is filth and an abomination.

I know it’s hard for some but I’ve personally never had any issues in being loyal in a monogamous relationship. Some are quick to give into temptations and too afraid to call it quits in a relationship they’re no longer happy in.

The OP does have a point though. Older generations of males were much less monogamous in the past but then again testosterone was much higher among males just a few generations ago

My ex-colleague used to share his wife with other men. So he told me, and a few others, at least. And by other men, I mean many other men.
He's been swinging for at least 10 years, and now, he's divorced and has to pay for the house and has to provide support for the children without actually being allowed to look after them.
Luckily, he's well paid and can void being completed screwed by his ex-wife.

Aside from the moral stance, obviously your woman isn't your property, but you still get to choose who sleeps with your conquest and who doesn't. It's like letting someone else eating your cake. Hardly works.
