What does the Average Turkish woman think of the Byzantines? Were Seljuk women more free than Byzantine Greek women, or less free?

I don't know others but I think it was just an empire who's descendant of Roman empire & ancient Greek states and contributed to Western civilization. Also most Turks call Byzantine empire "courtesan Byzantine" because of historical conflicts.

Also Turkic women(including Seljuk women) were more independent and also warrior, they were more valuable for their men too. I've read that ancient Greek people saw women as putty, ancient Indians saw women as an animal, the Western civilizations saw women as devil etc. But in ancient Turkic people, khagans couldn't go to war without their wives' allowing and their speech seemed as invalid if they don't refer their mom, sister, wife or other female relatives. But unfortunately everything became opposite as time goes by. Now Turkish women live in the worst conditions because of their shallow-minded men, they're beaten or killed everyday by their husbands or boyfriends for the sake of fucking "honour"(!).

We must be ourselves. But originally our culture and origins lean more towards east. We must stop emulating the west, because we have little-to-non common with the west
