What is the averege dutch hair colour?

A friend of mine is in utrecht from studying,and he told me most of people there are blond,and he wasn't refering to medium/light brown shades but to proper yellow/white blond. So could some of the dutch members post pictures of typical dutch pigmentation?

No, not yellow-blond hair on average. The average Dutch adult has light brown hair with some golden undertones. This colour is also common even in northern Belgium. Perhaps your friend is from Italy, where light brown with gold undertones might appear as blond hair. Quite a few Dutch people have blond hair but it is not the average. The Netherlands is not Scandinavia or Estonia. Chill dude.

Yes,and most of dutch people i've met had brown hair,but some where yellow-blond as well like paul bettany,is he considered light brown in the neerherlands? I've met dutch people but never been there,so i don't know.but this friend of mine is weird,he told me that irish are overwelming black haired,and having been in ireland i can defenetelly say that is not true,irish are mostly light brown haired.

Around Antwerp there is said to be also a slightly larger concentration of blond people. There is a map on this forum somewhere that confirms this.

Paul Bettany? Well I remember him being blond, but perhaps as he gotten older his hair darkened.

Most Irish are various shades of brown-haired and blue-eyed. Black hair is very rare (2.77% for adult males). Many confuse dark brown with black.
