EU warns Serbia to cancel free trade pact with Russia if it wants to join bloc

Yeah Serbia, cancel that trade deal with other Slavs and join the sinking ship that is the EU. Don't you want to inherit all of the western states' pathological guilt and identity crises by association? Don't you want to have no say in your domestic affairs after the bloc attempts to federalize and you become a tiny minority? Don't you want to become more diverse by cashing checks with you ass that Germany's mouth writes? Don't you want to contribute to overseas warfare and destabilization of regions of migrant hot-spots while the EU army occupies your backyard? Don't you want a Frenchman to call you a "European" rather than a "Serbian"... since as two "Europeans", you must have the same historical struggle, right?

Serbia needs that EU deal for sure! The faster the better!

If someone thinks EU would leave Serbia alone to be "indipendent" that one has no brain. Only if and when something changes inside EU then Serbia can take another way. Politicians here will always try taking advantage of all sides but one day it may come to the end, that is reality. Also I'm sure this process of joining EU may take many many years basically keeping status quo from both sides, EU and Serbia('s politicians) while this generation changes. Then they will see what next.

It is the duty of all Eastern Europeans to resist the EU and prevent its imperialistic spread, which includes its attempts to colonize the minds of each generation. So long as there are enough patriots, then there will be nothing to fear from the EU. The EU will be patient and clever with the East, as their shaming tactics will work less and their ability to lessen the importance of local identities via forced migrant settlement is mitigated so long as we keep our borders strong. Hungary has gone through countless hurdles and tragedies, many which could not be undone in the time period of a single generation. Yet we are still here, and even better, playing an important role regionally and internationally. Hungary will not succumb to this EU federalization, and neither will the true Serbs. When you already accept that there is never a "safe" place in the world that lasts indefinitely, you will have nothing to fear.
