My native language is romance(romanian). I do not feel close at all to other romance speaking people. I'd go as far as to say that I am culturally-mentally closer to the russian ethnos than my own ethnic group from Romania. I'm speaking generally here and I'm sure that's not true for everyone but I find romanians to be quite westernized by my standards - and what I mean by that is that these are people who you can not trust to mean and do what they say therefore you cannot put too much stock in their actions and/or words.
In conclusion I'd say a 60-40 or 70-30 split between slavic-romance groups, and by slavic I mean eastern slavic, as I don't think south slavs are that different from romanians, while west-slavs have their own short-comings of a different nature.
