The kovács is a Hungarian word in the Hungarian language, a profession without zero ethnic connection. Maybe some Kovács is Slavic origin, but definitely not because his name!

Basque does not sound that weird to me even if I can not understand it and it is easy to read, no weird or unusual characters (I might butcher the accent but still). Hungarian language on the other hand is rather intimidating and confusing to even attempt. Like Estonian, whenever I hear a song it feels like they are out of tempo with the rhythm because it is an highly agglutinative language.

My vote therefore goes to Hungarian language, even if Basque is by far a more isolated language, if not the most in Europe.

Basque and Spanish share a very close phonetic because the two have influenced each other, but I doubt that you can understand Basque as you can understand Spanish.
