I'm prone to classify myself as Pan-Europeanist but my convictions are not based at all on the 3 arguments exposed by OP, so I think he is irrelevant.

What are your convictions based on then? Christianity and the Renaissance?

You always need taxation, I'm not a "Taxation is theft" type of Liberal (well those are called Libertarians), I'm for low taxes on startups/new and small-medium businesses and relatively medium-small (though higher in proportion) taxes for big corporations. They spend most of the money on their healthcare and welfare systems, which to be honest is necessarily a left wing thing, tho some Scando countries are abandoning it.

As for minimum wage, it should be universal and not only for those who work for the state, or different minimum wages between the private and public sectors, that should not happen.

Some key resources should be runned by the state and that's it.

I imagine the first convictions stem from much earlier than both subjects you've mentioned.
