@Adamastor, you said Brazil was over 70% European on average, I was reading Wikipedia the other day, it cited a few studies that put Brazil at 60+ percent only. The South is around 80% though. I'm a bit curious about Brazil, I think it's an interesting country in terms of racial demographics. Plus it's huge - like Germany, France and Italy combined.

Wikipedia is not really trustable (I mean their sources are not always fresh), I only trust recent peer-reviewed studies; I'd say the average for whole Brazil is somewhere in between 65-75%, but it can vary drastically even from city to city.

You can have a town that is 80% European neighbouring another one that is only 50%. I think ~70% is a reasonable average because most studies are in between 65-75%.

Northeast and Northern Brazil are probably 60% European on average, Central Brazil around 65-67% and Southeast Brazil (the most populated region) around 70-75%. South Brazil is over 80%, yeah.

What about Sao Paulo specifically? It is so large, could be a country of its own. I think Wiki said 60-70% European.

I think it's accurate, but there's a big difference between São Paulo city and it's outskirts and the state called São Paulo. In the city you can find people from all over Brazil and many poor people from Northeast Brazil migrated there making the average less European than the state as a whole (but the capital city is the most populated region of course).

In the countryside you can still find a reasonable quantity of individuals who are purely European (99-100%) due to heavy immigration from Italy and Spain there.
