Last week some articles claimed that the first bombs of WW2 fell on Wielun:

"Frank-Walter Steinmeier spoke at a ceremony in the small Polish town of Wielun, where the first bombs of the war fell in the early hours of September 1, 1939."
That is not true, six minutes before Wielun Luftwaffe bombed Tczew:
4:34 AM - bombardment of Tczew*
4:40 AM - bombardment of Wielun
4:45 AM - attack on Westerplatte

"According to the city's website, Tczew was the location of the start of World War II when German bombers attacked Polish sapper installations to prevent the bridge from being blown up at 04:34 on 1 September 1939."
