The 1582-83 defter of Sanjak of Scutari recorded the Peć nahiya as having 235 villages of which some 30 were Albanian families besides majorital Orthodox Serbs. The Altun-li nahiya had 41 villages with a Serb majority and Albanian minority https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demogr...o#16th_century

He also banned expelled Serbs from returning to Kosovo for a number of years and I heard he also promised to give Kosovo to Albania if they agreed to join Yugoslavia. Tito also played a role in the separation of Montenegrins from Serbs. I wonder why some people say that Yugoslavia was "Greater Serbia in disguise".

Yes, I know. Tito was very anti-Serb. He divided Serbia on autonomous regions, but he didn't want to do that in other Republics.
I am Serb from Croatia, by origin. We were more numerous than Albanians in Serbia on census 1948 (even after Croatian-ustasha genocide against us in WW2), but he didn't want to give us autonomous region within Croatia, what he did to Albanians in Serbia.
His grave should be removed from Belgrade.
