Greece belongs to Western Europe?

Honorary not sure about that - Greeks voted to exit the EU - Greeks protest NATO and want US bases off Greece.. how many more middle fingers do Greeks need to give and still be called honorary.

Greece belongs in and to Greece it is its own unique country and not bound to anyone.

Greece is western europe like Japan is western nation. Because of politics, technology etc. well they had the financial crisis but in Balkan they always have been more first world then lets say albania or the communist countries.

Japan is Western now due to the Western colonization and rape of Japanese women during the times of Imperial Japan. That's around the WII time period. However Japan does not like this new idea from the West that's why they're just gonna accept investment and help from America.

You have no idea what western means. You think it means a rich country with democracy probably. It's not that. It's being part of Western civilization. Consult "Clash of civilizations" by Samuel Huntington. Japan is an Oriental country with it's own civilization.

And to answer the question of the thread: no, Greece doesn't belong to Western Europe. Greece is a Balkan country, an Orthodox country and in a strict sense doesn't even belong to Western civilization.
