I was reading a couple of answeres on Quora by people from Spain who said that, "We stick to very closed social circles, so casual dating and one-night stands are rare, at least in small towns." I'm curious if the same is the case for Italy?

I know that the USA follows a similar pattern to the UK, where people go on dates to see if they like each other. I'm not sure how things are in Germany.
