Simple-minded: “having or showing very little intelligence or judgment”. Retarded: “slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development”.

These adjectives describe the socialist mentality. Socialists show little or no capacity to understand human beings and their ways of doing things. Socialists show no little or no grasp of reality. Their retarded ideas about how real people and real institutions function are reflected in their superficial policy recommendations. Socialists do not see beneath the surface.

Socialists mistake form for substance. Take Bernie Sanders who says “we have to rethink free public education and go beyond K through 12. Four years ago that appeared to be a radical idea — ain’t so radical today. All over, all over this country, states and cities are moving to make public colleges and universities tuition-free.”

If Sanders has rethought public education and analyzed its failings, that is nowhere evident in his simple-minded solution, which is to make college education “tuition-free”. How can that “solution” possibly enhance the quality of K-12 education?

But, corruption, controlled population growth , preventing usury against social state must be checked carefully. I wish all countries had been like Sweden before multiculturalism. The problem with this reasoning is that in real world, no scarce resource can be both open to all, and also very inexpensive.

In countries with tuition-free college there are fewer college graduates (proportionally speaking) than in countries with significantly more expensive college.

In places where low tuition is mandated, the government must also intervene to restrict access to higher education, and to keep costs low through other means.

When you examine how "free" colleges must control costs, you see why tuition-free higher education ends up limiting access to higher education.

Red socialism is dead and it killed millions in Russia, China etc. But, I think a softcore social state is a must for an ethnic based country. People don't get mad with sharing their own kin. But, in a multiethnic country, social state may look like mass cuckoldry. If USA had been a majority white state smth like +95% , I'm sure whites there wouldn't be more right leaning economically.
