For some reason I’m getting more of a south east euro vibe might just be how old the pictures are etc they don’t strike me as typical Italians mostly anyway there as a few that look quite Italian though.

The surname Pischedda is mostly typical of nortwestern Sardinia.

The mother of a friend of mine is Pischedda, she has the identical slanted eyes of the young woman of the 2nd picture. Also all her three sons have the same kind of eyes.

Thanks. I looked at the village of their birth and their ancestor, they are born in a village of the South (Villacidro
) region but old ancestors had maybe left the North or Barbagia region to settled in the South. I have the impression that some Sardinians from Cagliari and South region are maybe descendants of people who lived in Barbagia or Sassari.

My mother gets some DNA match with Pischedda person on Myheritage.

On Gedmatch (V3 kit), she has very low Red Sea for a "half southern sardinian with more phoenician imput". Very low. Like 0.50. My father get more.

Actually, the surname Pischedda is in Logudorese/Nuorese language, it means "basket / reed basket"

Latin "Fiscella" -> Fiskella (Classical pronunciation) -> Piskella -> Piskedda

    Bolacchi

I have a doubt about this last name, but the whole people (and their ancestry) is from the same area: Gonnesa, Siliqua, Sardara, Villacidro, Province of South Sardinia
