you kidding me? chinese dialects literally couldn't get any further from indo-european, no noun declension, lots of tones, short syllable long words, no past or future tense, completely different phonology. Even in the realms of more theoretical linguistics, chinese is put closer to basque then indo-european, and even Japanese is closer

comparing the vocabulary of the modern chinese and English languages for such connections is foolish though, and any connections made that way would be almost completely pure coincidence. Now comparing say Old chinese and Latin would be more credible if you found any similarities, but even then it mostly be coincidence, and the fact that the ancestors of both people diverged 10s of thousands of years ago doesn't help the case either

no not really, just because some words have coincidental sounds to meanings doesn't mean anything, any two language can have that

Doesnt matter. Its not proving whether IE languages emerged by chinese or not, its his explanations, which i think, is logical.
