    comparing the vocabulary of the modern chinese and English languages for such connections is foolish though, and any connections made that way would be almost completely pure coincidence. Now comparing say Old chinese and Latin would be more credible if you found any similarities, but even then it mostly be coincidence, and the fact that the ancestors of both people diverged 10s of thousands of years ago doesn't help the case either

    Doesnt matter. Its not proving whether IE languages emerged by chinese or not, its his explanations, which i think, is logical.
