Default Why do Germans have almost Oriental sounding accents?

I guess some Germans (depending on their native Dialect) sound Chinese or something when they speak English? There's this German lady at the drug store and if I close my eyes, I'd think she was Oriental. Especially the way she emphasizes some words and the way she says "doll- la" . I wonder if maybe Chinese or Japs learned English from German accented teachers or something after WWII? It just seems interesting how they are phonetically similar.

But I can hear this kind of intonation similar with the Orientals. It's hard to explain. I wish I could post a side by side comparison. But it also depends on the region of Germany the speaker is from, possibly.

Chinese & Japanese are totally different with you try to pronunce it correctly, but german & japanese seems similar when they try to speak in english, in the same way happens with spaniards speakers ( not spanish america )

Idk I have listened to a lot of German music, known German emigrants, watched German movies and they sound unique, the only real differences in accents I have heard are people from Cologne and Bavaria

When I hear Nina sing in English, I somehow pictured her an Oriental girl at first
