Max Von Sydow, Swedish, but his English is Perfect
Jurgen Prochnow, don't mind the fake Germans. He sounds nothing like an Oriental person.

Sounds like what you are hearing is them over compensating for hard R's when most R's in German are soft and roll off the tongue like Recht, you barely pronounce the R in Recht, it's a completely different tongue action.

well, we have been occupied by the nazis and even french is hard for them
bonchour matemoizelle che foudrai fou tire que fou zetes tres cholie (try to imagine a SS officer falling in love for a local french in the 40's)
meaning : good morning miss i would to tell you than you are pretty cute, but in french, j is not ch ,d is not t ,and v is not f
but the right prononciation is : bonjour mademoiselle je voudrais vous dire que vous etes tres jolie
the Js are like in joy ,the Vs are like in voucher ,and Ts like in tennis
volskwagen is prononced folkwagen, like ein reich ein volk(folk),heineken(private joke)
they prononced the Js cheuh or Yeuh like yavoll but yavoll is prononced yafoll more or less, the Vs feuh ,the Ss ze like in zip and the Ds teuh when they spoke french and they does the link with a lot of Zs,german is gutural ,with a lot of gueuh too
french and english are more near than german/english or german/french,it's true anglo and french share a lot of common words, where there is almost none in french from german, words like tour de force, coup d'etat, are used by the anglos,i was even surprised, but we have a difference with you it's than we use more a romance based language like the italians/spaniards,where english is sometimes more near of german like kalte/cold, blau/blue, rot/red, man/mench danke/thanks got/god neu/new for some basic words

To many Brits, the American accent generally sounds more higher pitched and nasal.

0:35 This American female explains the differences of melodies and tones between American and British accents.
The English, Scots, Irish and Welsh use the throat area more during speech.
For example 0:20 below in this English death-doom and gothic metal band. (The vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe is from Yorkshire in northern England, but he also spent part of his childhood living with his British Army Officer father in Germany.)
This American woman has a nasal sound in the vowel pronunciation.
In England we pronounce words such as 'can't' with a deeper 'ah' sound (below.)
U.S. leader Trump's accent is higher pitched and nasal sounding.
U.K. leader Boris accent.... he speaks more from the throat area.
