Max Von Sydow, Swedish, but his English is Perfect

Jurgen Prochnow, don't mind the fake Germans. He sounds nothing like an Oriental person.

Sounds like what you are hearing is them over compensating for hard R's when most R's in German are soft and roll off the tongue like Recht, you barely pronounce the R in Recht, it's a completely different tongue action.

that's a possible explanation. It seems to be kind of like when little children slur their r vowels in some cases. But also the way they drawl out certain sounds and then clip others still reminds me of how the Chinese do it. I can't explain it.

To many Brits, the American accent generally sounds more higher pitched and nasal.

0:35 This American female explains the differences of melodies and tones between American and British accents.

The English, Scots, Irish and Welsh use the throat area more during speech.

For example 0:20 below in this English death-doom and gothic metal band. (The vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe is from Yorkshire in northern England, but he also spent part of his childhood living with his British Army Officer father in Germany.)

This American woman has a nasal sound in the vowel pronunciation.

In England we pronounce words such as 'can't' with a deeper 'ah' sound (below.)

U.S. leader Trump's accent is higher pitched and nasal sounding.

U.K. leader Boris accent.... he speaks more from the throat area.

True but some R sounds carry over to French like Reux and Recht both have similar tongue motion and start in the throat.
