TOP 5 - Andrei Arshavin

He lacked of professionalism and kinda selfish at times, but no doubt he was one of biggest talents ever, incredible with both legs, could dribble, long shots, finesse shots, complete attacking mid.

TOP 4 - Andriy Shevchenko

Shevchenko, what can I say incredible. Great positioning, was getting through attackers like nothing, always knew where the balls ends up.

TOP 3 - Ryan Giggs

Complete central midfielder, very inteligent, great passes with Scholesy used to be deadly.

TOP 2 - Cesc Fábregas

Called snake by Arsenal fans, one of best passers in football history, pretty big mistake for Chelsea to sell him last year, he could contribute for another 2 years.

TOP 1 - Aaron Ramsey - Believe it or not I adored this motherfucker, great box to box player, great passing, vision, ran every match around 10km and covered most of the field, always bashed by Arsenal players. Later they realised how good he is, when he got sold to Juventus.

An interesting list, 2 Eastern Slavs in it, is quite unexpected.
As for me, I have not been following football for 10+ years, and I am not aware of current trends and names. So I’ll name those I liked at that time (slightly mainstream):
1. Zidane
2. Shevchenko
3. Roberto Carlos
4. Roberto Baggio
5. Gabriel Batistuta
6. Miroslav Klose

etc.

I really like the teams of Brasil, Argentina, Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Croatia, Germany, England, France, Italy and Turkey of the late 90s - there are many great names there.
I consider Russian football in the 90-00s to be unsuccessful - I think this is not our sport.

Nice list, tho I fucking hate Rosicky, he made fun of Slovakian football team several times, he has such a big ego. And once they played in Slovakia I saw them on the street. I asked them for a pic and Čech was so nice and smiling then I got a photo with Rosický he looked like I was aiming on him with a gun and asking for a photo, I literally dont like that guy

Why, I like eastern Slavs, my half of family has roots from those areas, Shevchenko is a very likable guy now manager of UA, and Arshavin is just hilarious.
