Only visited four in my lifetime, so I don't think I'd be very qualified to say, but out of the states I've visited I guess I'd go with NY (although I'd hate to actually live in NYC itself, since fuck cities). If Texas were less warm that would be my second choice, super cheap housing and (disarmingly) friendly people make it quite an attractive prospect; I'm just not built to withstand temperatures in excess of 85f.

Florida = Nice weather, have already visited extensively, good share of Latin culture, lots of Brazilians, African Americans, etc. It also has direct flights from Miami to São Paulo and Stockholm. Floridans are also less likely to be fat asses, so they have hotter women as well. Another great asset is I have a relative who lives there as well as a couple of Swedish friends who moved there for international studies. It's at the top of my list when it comes to US states, and in my top 3 places to live globally, after São Paulo and my hometown in Sweden, Örebro.

Florida is great if you have a lot of money to live in a really nice area, otherwise it's terrible. Most of the people who think Florida is a great place are those who have never lived there. I speak from experience on this.

Overall probably Maine. Around 94% white. I visit it all the time, It's like a glimpse into what 21st century America should have been without the Hart Cellar Act. Incredibly peaceful and full of scenic beauty. The only flaw would be the Somalians in Portland I suppose.

It has to be a big city because I adore bigger cities. I like Boston, Massachusetts a lot when I visited so probably there. The history, culture, and atmosphere there is great.

Massachusetts and Rhode Island, lot's of Portuguese there.

Unlike the average joe, I would like to live in a quite state not that populated with a beautiful inland and coast, I think the only one that fits that is Oregon.

Oregon beaches seem to be beautiful, it's not a very populated area, it has heartbreaking paisages all along the inland part.

Oregon is mostly Democratic politicaly yeah, but like California and Washington it has a lot of conservative minded people in the rural areas. It seems a perfect combination of what I want if I had to live in the USA.

Specificaly, I would live in a small town/city right near to a beach somewhere in the coast of Oregon.

Inland without a coast states in the US seem to have a very heat, desert like and dry climate. I would "die" in Kansas or Colorado in the middle of the freaking summer.
