Anywhere in the midwest or few of the mountain states (Colorado, Wyoming, Montana). Moderately populated region. Though the temperatures vary quite a bit, this region is relatively well off in terms of everything else. Whether its job opportunities, development, crime, cost of living, not too much diversity (weird I know but I'd prefer states with majority white population), etc.
I'm from Colorado and fun fact its the leanest state in US, with the lowest obesity rates. Lot of outdoor hiking in summer and skiing/snowboarding at ski resorts in winter. Immense natural beauty, relatively calm, beautiful landscape.
East coast/west coast/south are too crowded/congested and this brings in a lot of crime as well and many other issues. Pacific northwest is fine as well around washington, oregon, etc but its very gloomy there. Its quite depressing if you dont like rainy weather. Plus that region is quite isolated. Its far away from most major cities in the country. Closest is Vancouver, which is in Canada.

Washington state if it weren't so dam liberal, closest to northwest europe in climate, and I'm not just saying that because of climate maps, I've been there myself, and it was like 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of summer, gorgeous, just gorgeous, especially the wooded countryside and the wind and clouds, and nature, it's all so tranquil...

New Hampshire, Maine or Vermont because of their overwhelmingly white demographics.
