"For all of you who love this song you should know some informations about it. This is the old folk song from Nerodimlje, a small area and village from south Kosovo, next to Šar mountaine. It was noted in the end of the 19th century. Village Nerodimlje is known as place where some of serbian medieval kings from Nemanjic dinasty lived (this song called ''Grow up, grow up my green pine tree'', is about them). The legend says that king Milutin and emperor Dušan the Great planted two pine trees. During centuries, for about 650 years, people from the village made a lot of legends, rituals and songs about these two trees, and one of theese songs is this song. Theese trees were very high, big and very unusual, impressive and old too. In 1932, king Milutin's tree was crushed down bu the storm, and then in 1999, Albanian criminals crushed down another tree, and burned small old medieval church in village."

Doesn’t matter, Kosovo’s real name is Dardania. Kosovo is the fake name of Dardania.
