The guanches have not dissapeared, canarians are between 10% (Tenerife) and 50% guanche (La Gomera, La Palma), and they score always only 1% SSA in the genetic tests, and most probably this comes from the modern slave trade, because this existed. In fact the SSA is higher in Gran Canaria, where there were more slaves.

The SSA they score comes from recent slave ancestors and not from their ancient Guanchez ancestry, you know why? It's because most algorithms with commercial companies include the ancient SSA component within the North African component. I can give you an example:

On ALL commercial DNA tests with their algorithms I score 0% SSA, why? Is it because I have no SSA? No I do have SSA, but its because the SSA is from an old sting so these companies include that SSA within the North African component, the same happens with modern day Canarians, when they have SSA in their results it means that SSA is not ancient but relatively recent (from now to 500 years ago I guess).
