Because FPTP produces really fucked up and perverse results. Very often parties that attract as little as 30% of the overall vote nevertheless win landslide majorities. In the 2015 general election, both UKIP and the Green Party attracted something like 2-3 million votes each, yet only won one MP each! No system is perfect, but certainly PR enables a lot more flexibilty and change than the stasis and entrenched party interests that inevitably flow with FPTP.

And I have shown you on several occasions what it leads to, and yet you persists. That should show us that your ideas about PR are not some honest mistakes but that you are fully aware of its failings and therefore want to implement it. There are more flavours than FPTP and PR btw.

Do you mean like the Single Transferable Vote? I could support that, although a few years ago it was voted down on a referendum here.

That might be an option. But that, probably, wouldn't prop up left-wing dominance so you wouldn't be a real fan of it. The most important change would be to bring back voting districts.
