Most men have difficulties to build defined abs. I think it looks good but it's not a realistic goal to have it, bodyfat and the liquid in the body will cover it normally, that's why bodybuilders fasting before challenges.

Yes. But some people naturally have little fat (lean, flat-bellied build) and I include them in the option a).

The problem in many European cultures is that they associate big strong with big fat.
Breeding to optimize lean body mass hasn’t happened in Europeans ever since they went farmer.

Thus why Europeans rarely have pure mesomorph body types who are big with low body fat. And it’s more common in Polynesians and West Africans.
Polynesians have weird builds - they look both fat and muscular simultaneously, as oxymoronic as that may sound.

It’s because they have huge bones. Being muscular with huge bones is optimal because your frame can actually support your large muscle mass and your internal organs also scaled properly due to bigger ribcage. That’s why Polynesians are big and athletic at the same time. Look at some of their rugby players.

But they have plenty of people who are just shredded. I grew up around a lot of them. Also LOTS of obese people but that’s due to them not being suited to western diet.

Dad bods are a necessity, if you want dads attached to children - which requires less T. Less T is also protective in middle and old age (fewer cardiovascular diseases).
