80% of Al-Andalus population were medievals christians
The collapse of Al-Andalus came with the fall of the Caliphate and the arrival of the muslims fanatics ( Almoravids & Almohads ).
Christians & Jews had to pay the muslim tax, but muslims fanatics didn't want taxes, only they wanted the conquer and the convertion to the whole population to Islam.

If people realized that the majority of the muslims in Al Andalus were Spanish (many of them visigoths) converted to islam for political-economical reasons, people would stop to say nonsenses about moorish Spain. This is how muslims looked like in Al-Andalus:
And this also goes to today´s muslims from northafrica or other places, that they keep believing that "they" ruled most of Spain.... If they knew that the moors that ruled most of Spain were white and basically full Europeans, they would stop about thinking that they were great in Al-Andalus. A minority were in fact north-africans...but pure caucasoid types (since islam started to enslave blacks in the XII-XIII centuries and that is why today´s northafricans are mulattoes, and the ones that entered in Spain remained almost fully caucasoid.

They look North African and Arabian admixed based on the results. It would be interesting to see the results of the Moors who conquered the area, I doubt they would be this much Spanish. Yes since many of the Moors were Spanish converts and were Arabized. These are just locals converts who mixed with Arabians and North Africans

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.
