1. A New Turkey inside Europe would change the entire World.
2. Navigation Era and Americas Discovery would be gravely affected. Probably a century or more of delay.
3.Catholic Church would be much weaker, much smaller and less rich. Protestants would rule christianism.
4. Iberians would be the most northern shifted muslins.
5. Americas would be all british and french.
6. Istambul, Rome and Venice would be way more important.
7. Italy would still rule the comerce in XIX and the industrial revolution would occurs there.
8. But the Mediterranean would lost their richness again with globalizatian due to Gibraltar and Bosforos-Dardanelos being blocked by muslins.
9. USA would have some more german immigrants and would be way more full of italians. The West Coast would have almost more 60 milion italian descendants that are currently in South America.
10. All Europe could have become muslim since Umayyad Caliphate was a serious Trojan Horse bordering France.

I dont believe muslins would have conditions to cross the Atlantic Ocean, but they certainly would colonize huge parts of Sahel and big parts of Subsaharan african like you said, very plausible. I also liked the possible reborn of the Bizantine Empire, would it be greek or italian speaking? Just wondering if the capital would be Athens or Constantinople. I enjoyed your criativity, thanks!

Indeed. I imagine Brazil could develop in two ways, both less populated than the modern Portuguese Brazil.

1)We could be a big empty French/Dutch Colony like Dutch Suriname and French Guyana with 10-20 milion people at most.

2)We could be a French/Dutch version of Australia mixed with South Africa Western Cape with 40-80 milion people at most.

It amazes me that too many European Powers were willing to cut deals with the Ottoman Empire, through the centuries. They were too myopic to understand the mentality of the Ottomans that hungered for more territorial expansion, and did it in the name of Islam. As for Spain, it would've been under the boot of Islam, as one of their minions.

That is why the conquest was a failure and the genetic and cultural legacy residual, very soon the majority of northern territories and population began to join the rebellion.

True, there was only an arab military elite trying to convert ethnic SW europeans. After centuries, some iberians became muslin and were reabsorbed or expeled to Morroco after Reconquista(Kabiles). Proper arabs probably never exceed 5%. But for many other peoples, like Turks, Pakistans, Kazaks... the convertion was sucessfull, if the same had ocurried in Iberia.
