I'm really interested in Jungian psychology. I read a book by one of Jung's disciples Erich Neumann called The Origins and History of Consciousness that talks about archetypes and outdated notions of prehistoric matriarchy that were common in 19th century German scholarship. I've watched a few Jordan Peterson videos and every once in a while, he'll have an interesting observation or theory, but for a Jungian analyst he comes across as remarkably bland. He's basically just a Paleo-Conservative that pays lip service to Christianity, but I seriously doubt the sincerity of his faith among other things. Like I said, not particularly remarkable.
